[Well, this is...probably as good a place to ask as any. Not like he has a lot of other options to look through, and it's now happened enough times in the last week that he's pretty sure he's not just seeing things anymore. But after a few attempts at writing and rewriting he eventually decides to just cut to the chase and keep it simple:]
Has anyone here experienced having their eyes glow red at random brief intervals? If you don't but know somebody that has, that's relevant too. I know odd impossible things happening to eyes isn't actually very new here, but I haven't heard of anything exactly like this yet.
I'd like to find something to correlate with so I can figure out what this is.
[....And a couple minutes later, edited on:]
Recommendations on eyedrop brands that moisturize the most effectively would be welcome too.

I take it you haven't had this sort of experience, at least. [He really hopes you haven't, anyway, having ice and fire is surely already enough??]

My eyes don't glow.

I'm not sure if anything happens or not. It only happens in a moment, half a second at most, and I don't really feel anything in my eyes when it happens.
Well, they've been a lot drier all of a sudden but that's more in general...

does it hurt?
[Huh weird, she didn't expect Aizawa to be on here...]

And sure, spotting more glowing red eyes in the mirror this morning was an unpleasant surprise too, but this new surprise here is now pretty handily trumping pretty much...all of that, oh no--]
Elizabeth? You're on this? How long have you been? I haven't
2/2
No, it doesn't hurt. It doesn't feel like anything in particular, which is strange enough in its own way.
[Another awkward pause.]
This must be very odd for you. I'm sorry. I'd ask you not to worry too much, but that would honestly be pretty disingenuous...so I won't.

But I can share some eyedrops that I use when my eyes get dry from studying all night.

[On the other hand, that second bit's an unexpected piece of generosity, huh--]
That's nice of you to offer. Sharing is unnecessary, since I'm capable enough of buying my own...but I wouldn't mind taking a look at the brand name of yours, I suppose, if you have that on hand.

I thought I was just seeing things for awhile, but it's getting too frequent to ignore at this point...

And you haven't been able to find a correlation between the events? You're not doing the same sort of thing each time or -- thinking the same sort of thought? Feeling the same sort of emotion?
[It does sound like a rather random ability if that's all it is, really.]

[Okay let's put away the dry humor for now, though, it seems like this guy's actually trying to be helpful here--]
But that's a good question, now that you mention it. I guess... [Let him think on this for a bit.] I've been startled when it happens. Not by seeing it, but rather before it occurs, by other unrelated things. Like those clinging garlands plaguing the shopping center lashing out, or knocking over a glass at the bathroom sink this morning. "Little jumps", I suppose.
[And he hadn't really drawn that connection until just now, actually, so he takes a moment or so to try and decide what to think of this. .....He's not sure.]
Perhaps my eyes have decided to get jumpy as well now, every time I'm surprised by something.
Seems excessive...

have you tried making it happen on purpose, or do they only do that on their own?
no subject
But fine, if it's a normal vein of conversation they're going to open with here--well, as normal as it gets with the topic of this post at hand--]
On purpose? No. The events I've spotted have all been accidental...it hasn't been something I've tried to think about making happen. I'm not sure how I'd go about making it happen on purpose, for that matter.
To be honest I'm not very eager to pursue it further, either. But I get the impression that these sorts of things can't exactly be ignored, can they?
no subject
When did it start?
Have you noticed it happening during certain times or when you're feeling a certain way?
Is it just your eyes glowing? Does anything else happen?
[All for...research purposes of course.]

One question at a time please, Midoriya.
But to answer these in sequence, since they're here:
1) Yes.
2) A week ago, I think. My eyes have been consistently very dry for about a week, at any rate.
3) Possibly, but the data pool I've got at my disposal presently is extremely small, so it's hard to narrow down a causation. Surprise has been a leading feeling, I guess, but all this is very surprising in general too.
4) Just glowing, mainly. I'm almost positive the dryness is also related. My hair moves as well sometimes, maybe, but I don't have any idea how that possibly relates to my eyes. It's mainly very aggravating.

I bet that looks sooooo cool
and sexy
because somehow you make tired look good

I also have no opinion on these particular factors whatsoever, so that's entirely up to you to decide I guess
I'm not trying to make tired look good, I'm just very tired. What does that even mean? [wait--] Please don't answer that, actually, I don't really want to know.

The fact that most everyone here is mentioning lasers isn't helping this concern in the least.

At least with photography you can edit that out or something. Not exactly the case here, though. I can confirm with certainty that this is definitely now happening in real life, at any rate, even if it doesn't seem like anybody else has experienced the same.
