Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! Hitori Togusa If Retrospec knows about it beforehand and are trying to do something about it, then we should probably get to preparing, too. Anybody who was around for August, share what you know, let's get everyone as ready as we can. Remember that they could see that a storm was going to happen, but they didn't know what shape it would take. As much as I want to know more, they likely can't tell us more until it gets here.

At this point, the phrase "residual effects" is starting to lose any and all meaning. What are we still dealing of the residual effects of, by now?

I would quite like to believe that isn't a roundabout way of saying that in fixing things, you just keep continually breaking other things. Unfortunately, I work in a lab with a group of hilariously stupid interns myself, so I'm aware that what I want to believe and what's likely the case are two entirely different things.

That said, happy new year, I suppose. May it be slightly less error-prone this time.

Storms? Is this referring to actual weather or is this a metaphor for the city being attacked. I'm still a new as far as Retrospec goes and I'd be interested to hear theories from more experienced users, as I realize that these don't tend to get responses from moderators or tech support.

As well, does anyone have an idea of what this "big project" is?

I'll admit that sometimes these announcements make me nervous, but after talking to some people I think that it's important that we do show support. If they really did save us from our dying planets and brought us here to start over, I think what they're trying to do is to help us more. That couldn't have been easy to do.

I'd also like to know if anyone has noticed any pattern to receiving those "polls", although I understand it may be hard to pin down.
