Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! I've been here since May of last year. Not since the beginning of all this, but more than long enough.

What's the craziest thing you've seen with all this?

I was one of the people that was removed from the city and brought to another place entirely back in August.

As such, the craziest thing was probably the undersea kingdom run by an octopus mafia don. We interrupted the preparations for his daughter's wedding.

Thankfully, I wasn't involved in the diplomacy end of things.

We did have to find a suitable wedding gift for his daughter, however.

What can you get for the mafia princess octopus that has everything?

Some sort of magical tiara being held by a coven of witches, apparently. Meant to be obtained through the most inconvenient barter system in the world.

This is startin' to sound like somethin' out of a kids movie.

If it helps, we were possibly the least likely to be protagonists in any medium designed for children, given that all of us were united by griping loudly about how little we all wanted to be involved in any of this.

Which was entirely fair at the time, but not the best object lesson to take home.
