Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! Not so much that as overly concerned. Which I acknowledge can be the same thing, in fairness.

I have to wonder how terrible the incident is going to be this time. I'm assuming something similar to August, in terms of scale; they're trying to assure us that everything is fine, but they're also strengthening their defenses...

That's what I'm afraid of, honestly.

Considering that was definitely one of those "unreality storms". At least, the term would explain what I saw, and I wasn't one of the people spirited away.

I admit I've been curious about what it was like for those that remained here; I've never really gotten a full explanation in detail.

In my case, I got a strange message on my phone, giving me some kind of team designation that told me to me with the rest of my group in the graveyard.

...Yeah.

They're not accessible anymore, but we were sent in to these huge tunnels that were crawling with weird creatures, and these weird rooms. For instance, there was a room with a desert and a Spinx, but it was just a regular--sized room; it returned to normal after me and the person I was with answered the Spinx's questions.

The Spinx and desert turned into a painting, which raises all kinda of weird questions.

...The more we try to explain these things, the more insane we sound. This is a realization I have frequently.

Believe me, I have a hard time talking about this because it sounds ridiculous to me, and I experienced it.

If it's any consolation, that's likewise my experience with regards to August.

At least everyone probably experienced a lot of weird, surreal crap.
