Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! I must admit, I'm always rather impressed at how these bulletins manage to be so helpfully informative while actually saying next to nothing informatively helpful in the slightest.

Now there's a thought I shudder to contemplate. Losing taste is an inconvenience, to be sure, but it doesn't come close to the sort of chaos that might ensue if we were all to abruptly lose our sight or our hearing.

Technically, there have been dozens of highly accomplished artists who created their work without the benefit of their sight. But I know what you mean — working in a visual medium would be exceedingly more difficult if you were abruptly and unexpectedly stripped of your ability to perceive it.

Then I hope very much that nothing should threaten our sight, because the thought of you having your art taken away from you is unacceptable.

i cant believe that these what ifs have more than a 0% chance of happening but you know what i'm just going to think of it as being less than 100%!

It's possible? I don't know how she could avoid being caught, really, when the method she's using of conveying the information is administrated by the very people she wouldn't want noticing.
