Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. It's not too important since I was mostly just venting, but I was implying that all cars would be replaced with giant shoes that still function like cars.

Kind of like The Old Woman Who Lives in a Shoe, only a car.

And much more varied! There are far more exciting styles and shapes of shoe than there are cars.

Perhaps just because it would be so different to the norm. If they varied from just leather shoes there could be some very unique patterns or designs as well...

Still, maybe they will leave cars alone for our convenience and go for something more frustrating. Hopefully not another sense.

I'm beginning to think that is a fleeting and impossible dream. There is always something happening, and I am aware I've only experienced a fraction of it.

My cats love it, though it's gotten a little beat up with four cats using it.

Hopefully the cats in my house would appreciate it, but I suppose nothing in life is guaranteed.

I'm quite of fond of them. Maybe not five plus of them, but ... they're sweet, most of the time.

They're pretty sweet until they suddenly decide they don't want any more attention, and let you know in the most violent way possible.

Thankfully my little guys don't really do that much.

... My housemate's cat yowls at him to go to bed. A lot. I think he thinks he's adopted my housemate.

He's never clawed him though.

Yeah, cats are like that.

I'm pretty convinced cats look at us and see weird, giant cats who are dumb and don't know how to act like cats.

Their actions would make so much more sense if that's the case. Making sure we sleep and eat when we should... curling up with us for affection and warmth.

Cats have this reputation for being aloof, but really they live in colonies and tend to watch out for each other. It only makes sense they'd do the same for us.
