LOADING...OVERFLOW

Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works!

Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem.

I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless!

As of this post taste tier 4 has been icly regained; tier 5 will go into effect on Saturday, January 6th at 9pm EST and taste will be fully restored!

I have not. Maybe I should go by sometime, carve out an hour or two in order to make that time happen. Still, it would be easier for most to relearn their old ways rather than teach someone new ones.

I hope I know something, in that regard.

But it is disappointing that they cannot own up to their mistakes. Especially if their consequences fall upon those who did not make them in the first place.

Still. Your words are heartening. I appreciate it, hearing things from you.

it is, but we all need to be able to defend ourselves. even if we don't get monsters in the streets again, you can still use it to help someone or help yourself. I don't consider it wasted time at all.

I agree. the people we spoke with seemed like they couldn't tell us more even though they wanted to. maybe it's some kind of law?

I appreciate hearing your thoughts too! I'm Sorey by the way, I don't know if we've met.

[He's eaten at pretty much every food place in town, though, so that's something.]

Sorey... hm.

[ not the oddest name, but certainly a memorable one? he must've seen him at some point. ]

I might have been in the backroom somewhere, or sitting with another customer or two. It happens often, as I tend to alternate between a brief storyteller and a very patient listener.

I am Leon. I will have to make sure to look for you specifically if and when I go for... training.

you sound like a good friend to have! what do you do, if I may ask?

I'll be there. I have armor and practice weapons and everything, so all you have to do is bring yourself.

Brew and serve tea, as well as manage a small group of employees. It is a nice cafe though a little off the beaten path, but this is more of a blessing than a curse.

I can most certainly do that, and will. Armor sounds a little daunting, but I will do my best.

oh! I love cafes! they're the best thing when you're a student teacher. or any kind of student, honestly. I'm sure your regulars love it just the way it is-- cafes are more friendly when they're not completely packed.

They do. We have quite a few students who will come by, and some of my employees are also students.

We try to keep it quiet for those who study, and there are enough couches and low tables for groups as well.

And of course they receive discounts, too.
