Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! But it's too high to write off the possibility, isn't it?
Like for example if you had a surgical procedure done, and they left the incision open and didn't give you any antibiotics, maybe there'd only be about a 35% chance you'd get a nasty secondary infection . . .
Would you be ok with that?

That's a really good question!

On the one hand it would be neat if there's a world where Santa is real, and I've met him. But on the other hand I don't know how I feel about Santa being that scary.

But if he IS Santa, then that kind of tempers some of the scariness, since he is probably still bringing presents to children and everything . . . so it's like, even though he is scary, he's also nice?

But maybe what it would really mean is that the truth about Santa has always been very dark and dangerous, and the jolly stories are just a whitewashed tradition to keep children from being too afraid and sad.

He probably is just some guy who doesn't have anything to do with Santa. That's best from the perspective of Santa being a benevolent figure, but on the other hand, that's pretty scary on its own, too. Because then it's like, who is this guy, then?
