LOADING...OVERFLOW

Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works!

Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem.

I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless!

[ Welp. ]

That must have been surprising.

If I ask if you found Atlantis, would that be too cheeky?

It was an underwater city and civilization, but I've never heard of a version of the Atlantis myth where the residents were giant octopuses.

[ ...Ah. ]

That's surprising enough that octopuses could be capable of anything amounting to a civilization.

They were very, very large.

But yes, I agree with the absurdity of it.

Were they able to communicate with you?

[personal profile] truedetective 2018-01-26 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
More or less.
They seemed to be speaking English, though a universal translator of sort can't be ruled out.

I will emphasize that the entire thing was very surreal.

I think that goes without saying.

This is one of the stranger things I've heard.

Well, stick around long enough.
I'm sure it'll be topped eventually.

That I had another choice in the matter...

Would you choose to go back to "sleep" if you did?
