Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! well, that’s good to know! it helps that we’re all in the same boat here, huh? remembering stuff we never experienced and having them change some of us like that… it’d be a lot worse if people went through stuff like that alone.

I'm pretty sure any one of us would just end up committed to a mental facility if we were on our own. If nothing else, we can assure one another we're not insane.

can't deny that... i know i thought it was pretty crazy when i first got retrospec. someone i know tried to explain it to me and i honestly thought he'd fallen on his head during a spar or something.

oh… well. you know how they can change people somehow? like give them superpowers or change their eye color? i was sort of there when it happened to one of my friends.

I saw a version of my home, barren and destroyed. Or, rather, the home of my other self.

The pain I felt in seeing it in that state showed me just how real my other self was.

so maybe all that stuff they said about our souls is true, then. what i don't get is what they're trying do with making us remember things like that. i'm not sure remembering things like that are going to help anyone.

The motivation behind all of this is still a mystery. But I do know that I trust little of what official word comes from Retrospec itself.

we don't really have a lot to go on except what they tell us, though, do we? it sounds to me like they're pretty good at hiding their tracks. didn't their whole building just disappear or something a few months ago?
