Any name suggestions? Before you ask YES she was one of the shelter dogs in the Recolle 99th Precinct calendar.

Cute. Charming. Makes more sense if he was the one who adopted the puppy. Would it be weird to name a girl dog a guy's name?

My lone complaint about Poptarty is that it sounds like something else like, "Pop is tardy. He threw out his back gardening." Okay that and also it's not fair to the baked goods and pastries that I love so much.

its not weird! anybody would be proud to have a dog named after them, its like the ultimate praise! if you want to go with the -ie/-y thing you can name your dog after me! mafuy!

An honor huh? Yeah I wouldn't scoff if someone named their dog after me. Dogs are awesome! How is it an insult for someone to name their furry baby after you? It's not!
I guess people who hate dogs would naturally object but otherwise how uptight do you have to be to be offended by the idea?

Not that Mafuy isn't cute but I was thinking more along the lines of your original suggestion to name the dog after the person who held her in the calendar.

A guy named Matt. He's actually technically not a police officer but he works with the police at the 99th and was in high demand for the calendar since he's hot. Go figure.
