What's in a name?

Any name suggestions? Before you ask YES she was one of the shelter dogs in the Recolle 99th Precinct calendar.

I hadn't thought of that. You know I'm not sure I've met anyone who named their dog after a musician they like. The only example that comes to mind is Marley from that book/movie Marley and Me. Do you own any pets named after music artists?

Yes.

Four budgies.

I could include my dog, but I don't know the intention of Iggy's previous owner.

May I inquire what the budgies' names are?

In order of age: Janelle, Busta Rhymes, Beyoncé, Whitney.

The last one won first prize at the pet show last year.

Yellow and friendly? So you could say she has a sunny disposition. lol Don't mind me.

Should I have named her Sunshine instead?

Well, I wouldn't have, but that's a good name for a bird.

That does make a good bird name but Whitney is more original and goes with the names of your other pets. Besides the songs of her namesake make people smile all the time!

What's the point of having pets if you can't name them after something you love?

You love your pet you naturally want to name them something nice. It makes perfect sense!
