well, I guess that settles it... you know, there's a point where denial isn't worth it anymore （＾。＾；） for those who don't know much about Japanese history (like me), this is a Shinsengumi haori, because apparently I really am a century old samurai? except probably an alternate universe one or something. it's weird. either that or my old memories were from a really dedicated historical reenactor w serious delusions also, MY EYES ARE PURPLE NOW. so that's a thing ◔_◔ I guess I get to join the club of other people who have to pretend to be wearing contacts all the time oh! I guess I was also going to ask, how many here have memories that are like... normal, I guess? (‘◇’) well obviously memories of 1860s Japan is weird, but what I mean is that there's nothing supernatural about them. well almost... there's one that seems different. but the rest of them have no super powers, no monsters, nothing like that. it just looks like the past.

well, a lot of people have had their eye color change to something weird
mine used to be brown before
so to explain the change it's usually just easier to pretend to wear contacts
or to buy contacts and cover up the new color... either of those two works
I wouldn't call it normal, but it does certainly keep happening

As beautifully artistic your eyes look now, not sure if natural purple eyes look like that, I'm pretty sure those exist as a mutation of blue or something, can you tell me example of other eye changes you know of?

I mean I agree it's all pretty weird, but honestly the eye color thing is less upsetting than a lot of other things
I've seen red eyes and gold eyes myself so far, and I've heard about other changes
I think just about anything is possible, and not just eyes either

and generally the non-users don't notice, that's correct. but my mom did ask me about my eyes, so maybe something has changed, idk. or appearance changes are different somehow.

no worries! it's all a bit overwhelming in the beginning, I understand (*^-ﾟ)b
and yes, other things can change
some of my friends are now some kind of sword spirits... they're stronger and faster than ordinary humans, and they heal better too, but other than that they look normal apart from some weird eyes + tiny fangs in one case
I know some ppl have gotten more swole too, and others have gotten weird hair colors... there might be more extreme changes, but I can't think of any rn

"inconsistent" is honestly a good word to describe a lot of stuff connected to Retrospec regrettably (´～｀ヾ)
