January 15th near Apprassage well, I guess that settles it...
you know, there's a point where denial isn't worth it anymore (^。^;)
for those who don't know much about Japanese history (like me), this is a Shinsengumi haori, because apparently I really am a century old samurai? except probably an alternate universe one or something. it's weird.
either that or my old memories were from a really dedicated historical reenactor w serious delusions
also, MY EYES ARE PURPLE NOW. so that's a thing ◔_◔
I guess I get to join the club of other people who have to pretend to be wearing contacts all the time
oh! I guess I was also going to ask, how many here have memories that are like... normal, I guess? (‘◇’)
well obviously memories of 1860s Japan is weird, but what I mean is that there's nothing supernatural about them.
well almost... there's one that seems different. but the rest of them have no super powers, no monsters, nothing like that. it just looks like the past.

Funny...
The more I think about it, wearing that haori with your new-found eyes would be quite striking.
The blood as well.

most people seem to come from rather dramatic backgrounds regardless of other differences between memories
and well, completely normal for a samurai belonging to a rather controversial military faction (^^ゞ
memories aside though I think I will avoid getting covered in blood, personally
honestly I get queasy at the sight of it

Well, normal can be different things.
I am in no position to judge you regardless.
Being covered in blood...
It sounds disgusting.
Not to mention it would leave quite the scene wherever you might go.

it really is... I've thrown up after getting new memories before, it's not a trend I'd like to continue

If your memories come at about the same time, you could always prepare for it. Perhaps find a way to keep your stomach from turning upside-down, or do something to keep yourself relaxed...

that doesn't mean that all the more random uncanny valley things are pleasant
mostly they just come out of nowhere, whenever something similar happens, you know?
though I guess I should prepare myself for the ones that appear as dreams

I hope that all of mine will be as such. Easier to think about them there, than interrupt something important.
I suppose I will see how that goes as time passes.
But I hope you will find some relief in the form of sleep, instead of being shocked while awake.
