Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them. That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady. general 'you' of course since i'm not quite sure if you're trying to say you were a defense attorney here or a serial killer.

Defense attorney. Serial killer was just the first bad example that came to mind. I'm not a big fan of killing people! If I were getting those kind of memories I'd warn my friends and lock myself up to make sure I don't hurt anyone!

no worries! your friends would theoretically probably (to quote joanne, eehee) be ok!

serial killers don't usually go after their friends.

like, the smart ones, because then they probably would get caught before they could rack up an actual series

Right I guess most of those killers went after strangers. Still murder is one heavy weight to put on a relationship. And morally wrong? Not the kind of person people are lining up to become what with all the alienation and jail time involved.

that's the difference between a crime of passion and a calculated crime, right?

crimes of passion are almost always someone really, really important to you! and it could be anybody! it could be you! it could be me! if it's that kind of murder, we're all just one bad day away from becoming a monster.

jail time's kind of a wrench in the works though huh. i hate to say it but this world has rules that maybe others didn't?
