Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them. That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady. You write horror, but your heart isn't in it? That can't be pleasant at all. Why do you choose that genre, then?

i would be lying if i said that my heart wasn't in it in its own way, because why else write them, but

at first it was more as a way to rewrite some old tales i found concerning the shipwrecks i learned about, ghost stories about those who drowned at sea

but then i guess it became more of a thing to do when i wasn't feeling into writing about shipwrecks, hashing out feelings or fears that i felt in my own life. it's not something i want to do all the time at all, but it has its purpose

Then if you don't mind me saying so, it sounds like work that you should be proud of -- though work that doesn't always sound easy to write.

it isn't easy but some of the stories are okay i guess

and yes i have the files on my computer of some of them as well as physical copies from the magazines. would you like me to send them to you?
