Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them. That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady. It is, but a lot of it is through Retrospec or people's personal experiences. There's a guide here, but know that's a lot of reading and for now it might make more sense to only focus on the basics.

But the other sections will clarify what they're going on about with the storm.

Likewise. Honestly, the fact that this one is themed around the holiday makes me wonder if August's might've been some sick idea of a "vacation" or something.

From what you've said, I wouldn't put it past them to define that as a vacation.

I actually didn't even make the holiday connection at first but you're totally right, it does say something about a holiday... I wonder why Valentine's Day would even have to do with a storm?

I can tell you anecdotally some other holidays have produced things that relate to them. A fog with monsters in it in October. Bats made out of mistletoe in December. I'm not sure why Valentines would be more pronounced than them, but it could just be a coincidence?

Mistletoe bats doesn't sound too bad (kind of cute actually?), even if I wouldn't think of bats for the winter holidays. Well, when you put them next to monsters they don't sound too bad at least. ;;

You could be right though. And maybe it'll be one that isn't as bad? Valentine's Day doesn't really have anything scary about it! ...sort of.

So I think some people would fear something similar but worse for Valentines.

It could be embarrassing for sure but I don't know. I still don't think it could be worse than monster attacks or a real storm.

Well, perspective is a difficult thing. It helps everyone, but it doesn't usually come from a pleasant place.

Yeah, true. It's not always fun looking on the bright side when that bright side isn't much brighter.
