Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them. That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady. Also, what if you start dating someone, but they're really into Valentine's Day? Would that be a dealbreaker?

i dunno, a holiday that celebrates a historic event? or some event important to a lot of people

well for starter's, dating doesn't work for me. but on the off chance it did, i'd still let them plan things out. i'm aware i'm a small percentage of people that hate valentines day, so i wouldn't try to kill my loved one's fun

well, that's important for being a good romantic partner. understanding they have different views on things. it's just common sense

yeah, i have a strong dislike of the holiday, but i'd hope that my feelings for whoever i'd be dating at the time would be stronger than that. it's just a day, and if it makes them happy, i'd do it

You may be a good sport, but they've noticed the mismatch in your enthusiasm about the holiday. They're tired of always having to be the one to take the initiative and plan a Valentine's date... they want you to want to celebrate it, not just avoid trying to kill their fun.
