retrospec | loading...overflow

Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them.

That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady.

That's a relief. I think I'll take it easy for a couple of days to let my courage replenish itself. Maybe work on it a little throughout the year so it doesn't decrease so quickly...

What should I eat? I don't think I have today.

Get a thing of snack cheese and stick some peanuts or almonds into it. If possible, submerge them completely beneath the surface of the cheese.

Ew. Okay, I'll find some sort of mild, nutty cheese and go for the almonds.

Honestly, I wouldn't even eat cheese when I was a kid, but now I've acquired the taste, I guess?
They say if you eat something ten times, you'll start to like it.
By the way, you could also just eat anything else you feel like.

Hm... I think I might melt the cheese over some bread. Grab a handful of almonds alongside that. Then pray.

I guess a blurry-picture ghost is fairly innocuous in the long run, but it's still better to know, probably.

I don't like getting my picture taken if I'm not aware of it, but if I get a head's up it's more okay. Photographing shy, though... maybe. I don't know anything about composition and stuff, so I don't like showing people pictures I take.
