Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them. That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady. Oh, that. It's sort of... like you're reliving something, I guess. Kind of disorienting, depending on what's going on. Were you a phone operator?

I wasn't expecting to get a completely different idea of what an Operator is in the middle of a normal conversation. Still unpacking it.

This kind of stuff happen often?

Hmm... Depends on the person, I guess. There was a survey going around. You just missed it. But skimming the responses, the average ranges from one to eight times a month. I'm one of the un/lucky eight.

Holy shit. Well, fine, I can get used to it. The first one's probably always the worst.

I can't say the content gets any better. But once you realize what's going on, you'll feel less like you're going crazy.

Despite what I said, it might stay that way. Kind memories. I hope people are getting those. Anyways, that's just... what happens. You can talk about them or not. I don't see a point in it, others insist on it. I'm not really helpful with this stuff.

Not much to talk about with this one. Capital-O Operators are a thing and they help people out. Don't know what that means to me or why it's even a thing that matters, but there we go. First piece of the puzzle that makes up the other person that I am or whatever the entire hell THAT'S all supposed to be.

You said you work at a call center? That's... sort of like operator work. Maybe you just have to keep at it and the rest of the pieces will come.

Yeah, I'll do what I can. Hard to tell if the calls are gonna pick up again anytime soon. They might lay me off. We'll fuckin' see, I guess. God, I miss when that was my biggest worry already.

It's fine, I got this. If everything else is right then my landlord might not even be real anyway so who cares.

Yeah, trust me, I know. Maybe the person I'm getting these memories of was fucking loaded and I'll end up with a comma or two in my bank account.
