And Kei's other self would allow that man to "wish for death." What does that mean? No, he understands it simply, but there is more said and unsaid than he can unravel. ]

With all this business going on, some frivolousness ponderings might be an enjoyable distraction.

Well, then. If you could wish for anything, what would it be? [ A pause. Kei thinks of sending it like that yet he feels that may be too telling. Too telling of what? He's uncertain, but adds more to cover up his uncertainty. ] Though, with Valentine's Day is coming, most are thinking of just wishing for someone to spend that day with, hm? :)

Speaking of business, I'm allowing 50% off for anyone who comes.
If you're feeling particularly haggard with everything, I'll make it 75%.
I agreed to it initially as a joke -- the 75% -- but if all I can do is slash prices for others, why not?

It's only a percentage cut.
It's a disenguous action that people view as nice and kind.
But it really isn't anything.

[ Kei is god-awful with finances and uses his back-alley clinic to cover for any costs for his restaurant that he messes up in the month. He's a hot mess when it comes to money. A hot mess. ]

I had made light of how my softness would cause me trouble.
But it would seem like that is what is happening.
Oh, well.

If they are needing something to take their mind off their difficulties, my restaurant is quite good at doing just that.

It is mapo tofu.
And mapo-tofu styled ramen.

It is nice to talk to someone else that enjoys the sheering spice of it.

And yes, it is. It may be the only food I can say I really like.

Rest assured, I don't plan to overindulge in it.
I already eat four bowls at a time when I do decide to partake.
I can't afford to do that every time.
So, there is no need to worry about me having it every so often.

I've never heard of someone who could take so much mapo tofu.
