Valentine’s Day is almost here!
Hello everyone!
I know we’re all a little busy with various tasks, but I think it’s good to take a break every now and then! So while you have some downtime I’d like to get everyone’s opinion on something! Everyone here is so unique and different that I’m looking forward to your answers!
My question is, what do you think is the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day for a friend? And also for a special someone? Obviously there’s candy and flowers, but what would you like to give or get for the holiday?

For a special someone...hmm something they have wanted for awhile. A present for me would be a book, though not a very cheap one, but one not too expensive either.
[Not that she would pass up one if it's expensive.]

For other friends I'd buy chocolate because else I'd be baking forever. Homemade just seems better.

Of course, there would be presents. Sweets and such. But I find that time spent together with someone you like is the best gift.
Time is fleeting, after all.

It doesn't have to be expensive but it should have some thought put into it.
Generic stuff like chocolates and flowers don't show any thought or care imo.

Well, I may be a little biased about that, working at a bakery and all.

But making it special means catering it to their likes. So maybe stuffed animals? A gift card to their favorite restaurant? Things like that.

All those other things sound nice and thoughtful too!

Sometimes I prank my bros by buying them the biggest candy box I can find. Granted Easter is when you can really do it well...one time I sent a friend a full grown adult sized chocolate figurine!

Ahaha, I didn’t even know they made chocolate figures that big.

I don't know what I'd get a special someone though since it would depend on who it is. I think something meaningful or handmade would be a great gift! And chocolate, of course!

Making someone chocolates to let them know that they’re special doesn’t seem so bad.
