[Text] From Late Night
[ I mean she's still out in Magatus but there's a thought which has sort of lingered in the back of her mind for a while now and as such more to clear her mind from thoughts of wolves and the thoughts of her own son (including of all things puns, why??? she's going to put out vaguepost in the form of: ]
So does anyone else have children in the memories they've been getting?
To answer my own question the woman I am in my memories has a son and then her son has three children as well.
[ So this tbh pretty young looking 41 year old is a grandmother in her memories but that's beside the point. ]

I hope the city remains safe until we're all back.

I don't believe anyone left behind will allow anything to happen.
It would destroy their pride as people.

I am excluding myself, yes.
I have no pride.
That is an odd thing to admit to, but I am afraid I don't really have anything I could call pride.
What motivates me is that I live here and it would be troublesome if I didn't do anything.

Why?

Humanity functions because of the hope that holds society together.
The people of Recolle have a pride they need to maintain to keep the city in order for us out of it.
Seems to me plenty of people's motivations could be just as simple as not wanting their house to get lost in whatever chaos happens next.
... I have no idea what happened.
I am coming under the impression you may think I believe it is negative for them to have pride.
Is that right?
I am not offended. Just curious.

I'm just not sure people think that hard, I know I don't.

No one seems to think that it is a tad inflated and unfair to believe they can save an entire city if something were to happen.
They believe in their capabilities and community -- have pride in both to believe that they will succeed.
I don't think much thought is going into it at all but I commend them at it and hope for the best.

Well, we'll be doing out best out here, so you guys do you best back there. Both of them are probably connected with the storm and whatnot.

All the same, "the best" is all we can do.
Anyway, have you found your people yet? Parents to those in other memories, I mean.

[ Her people, sheesh... ]
There's been a few responses here? you can read them yourself

And I could, but is there anything wrong with asking you?
no subject
I found a few people

Also, the reason why I asked you instead of looked is because you can think of if you have or have not yourself, too. This post is mostly for yourself, is it not? So if you found what you were looking for, I can tell you simply and honestly: Congratulations.

... Actually. ]
Do you have a sense for if the man in your memories is older or younger than you, in the bulk of what you've gotten?
no subject
I've only received a few memories.
Some were in his twenties.
Some were at an age I'd say is close to mine.
His skills and sharpness is far beyond my own, however.
It's a little humbling, honestly.
Why?
no subject
A the memories I've gotten concentrate on two main ages and while one's younger than me, one's much older than me. These are the whole lives of people, right? So there could be more to it and some people might be older or younger than they are here.
