But is that a reward for saving the mayor and the others? I assume that you were all successful, anyway.

How beautiful...!
If you house them at the stables, we'll take care of them properly ♪ It's a little costly, but that's the price of good care.
All you'd have to do is come visit them every so often so they don't get lonely. Horses like being brushed and cared for by those who own them as well, as well as being given treats and ridden ☆ So doing that much should be enough.
Well, we can do that too, but horses really, really like it when it's the person who owns them!
And a happy horse is a healthy horse, as I say!

And to be honest, something about the idea turns my stomach for some reason.

But, message Officer Frederick Boudin. He's one of our mounted officers, but he knows a lot about caring for horses. Tell him you suddenly have a horse, and he'll definitely help.

Horses are much like big dogs but require far more care.
I can only render some small assistance, but only as someone who rode ponies as a child.
You'll need a stable. A decent income to provide proper food and care. A saddle, bridle, brush.
Does he have a name? He's beautiful, I must say.

Outside the city for now, but I've been around enough, growing up, to be able to help when I get back.
Perhaps ask around in the places near the city to see if anyone is keeping large animals or has a barn that you can use as a stable?
