Let's see. You've put a lot of time and effort into this, because it is something that you like, hm? A hobby of yours?

I collect, dress, assemble, and paint dolls, yes. But I made it to show Shuji you don't need to be a pretentious twat to be evocative.

[ P...itou... why are you admitting that in public.... ]

Oh, you met Shuji.
And he didn't like your art?

I'll pay you one-hundred dollars for one and to show my support in your future zines.

[ Kei feels guilty about trying to take away Shuji's dokis the last they spoke. It wasn't the young man's fault that Kei was going through some stuff like finding he might actually be Satan. But he also feels just a little petty. The young man wouldn't eat those ghost pepper chocolates. Like, dude. Fine, be that way. ]

I didn't like his book, he didn't like my poems. We're pretty even. But I'll definitely take your money.

Either way, I find the zine aesthetically pleasing to me.

Oh? You're in to that sort of thing? That's rare.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

But either way, the phrase: beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is a nice one.
Don't let me and others ruin it.

Oh, it doesn't bother me. I'm a creep. I use to say a freak, but I have enough memories to know I was never human to start with, so that would be an incorrect descriptor for my traits.

[livingimpaired]

It is nice to meet a fellow creep.
However, I don't necessarily like sounding like one.
Best to keep that to oneself.

But still, even if you were never human in your memories, you're human now, aren't you?

[playdolls]

To certain specifications, my internal systems are still human. My tail and ears make me look like a cat, which I am also not.

No.
I don't mean your physical body.
You may be an oddity, but you were born human.
You came to be part of this society.
You're still part of the people, even if you create works that may be considered disturbing.
You've not yet been dismissed from the human race, Pitou Blythe.

I don't have any proof of that, and neither do you. I remember my queen and my hive, and I remember being born to that. I'm waiting for a human who can say the same.

Did you wake up in the womb and share your mother's mind?

Maybe I don't want to be lumped in with your inferior species.

I'm afraid I didn't.
But I still know myself to be human.
An odd human, to be certain, but I am one.

If you didn't want it, you wouldn't be attempting to connect with us.

Does it look like I'm trying to connect? Or does it look like I want to take you apart and sew all your pieces back together in a different order.

It looks like you're trying to connect.
But you're too afraid of what will come next if you do.
Because they may be incapable of accepting who you are.
So it's easier to be a creep and inhuman.
Easier, but not better.

I don't need to be accepted. You can all be remade into whatever I want.

[ WHY WOULD ADMIT THAT OUT LOUD. ]

You're just meat and strings.

Maybe not, but I accept you, Pitou Blythe.
In this small conversation, I accept you.

And so I may be but meat and strings, but I still accept you as you are and as you will come to be.
