Oh yeah it happens to people later in life all the time! Some people just know from the time they were a little kid and others don't realize it until they are well into their adult years. It happens.

It's not like your pal likes ALL the women out there right? Well being into guys doesn't mean you like ALL the guys out there either. So yeah there's definitely a possibility that this guy has been bi all along and Mr. Angel is his type.

True pure honestly with oneself and patience. Those are the two things needed to establish what this is. Is he sure this is the first time another man made his heart pound like that? It's not always a walk in the park finding out something new about yourself especially this late and that's why being patient is really freaking important.
