005. Staying the way you are also means solitude

Well, it's good to see that my brain has decided to take this fine opportunity to provide me with new and creative ways to do basic calligraphy.



If you recognize that sort of thing any - congratulations, I suppose. I probably want a word with you.

Even if you don't, however, I'm feeling like escapism tonight. Tell me stories you know, either from your past life or this one. Legends, mythology, fairy tales people tell their children, even - it doesn't have to be anything complex. As long as it entertains me somehow I don't care.

I'm not certain if that's supposed to be a language or some sort of iconography, honestly.

You mean like cave paintings? I don't remember anything like that... Then again, I don't remember much except that we had togas and spaceships.

Probably??? I don't get it. Sorry. Other Kara knows about as much as I do, and she remembers the togas, too.

It's just a coincidence. Kara Ellis is older than I am, and she's a scientist! But we remember sort of the same place, and even the same family, so I think we were related back there.

...Interesting. I've met someone that remembers the same place as I do, but I haven't run into any relatives here. To my knowledge, at any rate - I only remember my sister so far, back then.

Did you know that person before or were you just from the same world?

I knew him back in that world, yes - we did business together, I believe, at least for a while.

Hey, at least there's that. I wonder if there's more people from the same worlds or more people with nobody.

...Good question, actually. Although the person I know was already on the network when I was signed on, so it might be a bit hard to say - after all, until then he would have said he didn't have anyone else from his world, either.

And until everybody's on who can be, we wouldn't know. Maybe Retrospec has a list but they lost it somewhere.
