I just got a crane in the mail and it won't stop following me around.

I don't know if I should just "release" into the woods so does anyone know if the zoo takes donations? Because I really can't take home a crane.

It won't stop pecking me if I tried picking him up anyway...

If the zoo won't take him, you could try an exotic bird sanctuary. Definitely don't dump him in the woods or stuff him back in the mailbox. I'm pretty sure he's an endangered species.

I'm definitely not going to put it back into the mailbox. It could barely fit in there in the first place.

I'm going to try calling the zoo later today and find the number of an exotic bird sanctuary to call them as well. I'm hoping that someone can take it in because I certainly can't take care of it.

I'm not too sure. In my other life, I had to remove a crane like this from school grounds and release it into the wild but asides from that, I don't have any other memories of interacting with cranes. I certainly wouldn't have owned one.

But then again, Retrospec has been giving me items that don't necessarily belong to me.
