My eBay account got suspended.

I have not used eBay in awhile so I guess I don't know the proper protocol for someone outbidding you for a cursed doll. Cursed with either a violent curse or a child's soul. The seller didn't specify.

It is not proper etiquette to e-mail the person you were bidding against and ask them to sell it to you rather than use it for their BuzzFeed article. Or let them be aware that you were honestly hoping it had some soul trapped in it to give it to friends in the hope that it will come to life in the middle of the night to do whatever cursed dolls do.

Who knew. I thought we were both cursed doll enthusiasts.

Congratulations on winning the three cursed doll set. You sniped and connived and allowed your greed to completely take hold of you. So yes, praise should be awarded to someone who had far more ambition than a person such as me who merely had an idle want. However, I believe that whatever BuzzFeed article that you are writing pales in comparison to what I am attempting to do with those dolls. So, let us make a trade -- monetary in nature. I will pay you whatever you like for those three.

The reason that I desire them is my wish to see if they are truly haunted, if they truly have spirits trapped within them. Is that spirit fractured? Is that why it is a set? What could tear apart a human's soul? Would the tortured screams be able to say? Who knows. It may all be a rouse and means for these little bidding wars between ourselves. All the same, I am curious.

So, while I admit that I lost, I cannot retire so easily. So, sell me the set.

It was in passing and I have spoken to many.
So, I am most likely wrong and mixed up who told me.
My apologies.

I suppose I went with too direct an approach.
I merely had decided on that action and once decided, I didn't want to give it up.

This may surprise you but I am usually very logical and rational.
Honestly to the point that it infuriates others, haha.
This is one of the few times I decided to be irrational which goes to show I should never be irrational.

Your writing has a cadence to it that suggests one of a very logical mind.
Perhaps to the point of being out of touch with emotions in the eyes of others.
Though it does also appear that you are attempting to make it appear otherwise even if it comes off mildly awkward.
So altogether I would say a profoundly rational/logical personality who is self aware and making sure to somewhat attempt to blend in so as not to stand out so much.
At least that is my first impression.

I mean that.
It isn't that I am without emotions, as you say, but my feelings are slightly different from others.
My manner of viewing the world is rather esoteric and I have found in the past that it is best to attempt to blend in rather than rally against society's norms as it were.
I am human and part of the world.
So I am always trying to understand it.

Oh. I had only one friend in my teens and that was because he wanted to be friends, not because I sought out friendship.
I didn't care about anyone's feelings or their existence since I considered it so removed from me that there was no reason to waste my time.
You see, not caring about people's opinions because no matter what, you cannot please anyone is fine.
Not caring about people's thoughts and feelings because they mean nothing to you, is unacceptable.
And I was of the latter case in my youth.

Before he passed, he asked me to watch over it.
That is how I came to own it.
