My personal favorite would be the ichigo daifuku. It's a mochi cake with a whole strawberry and the middle and some anko.

I do have a brother, several, actually. But none named Naoto, sorry.

i'm an only child so i've always thought it'd be nice to always have somebody there

I wonder if perhaps we're related more distantly? My brother and I are the only ones from our immediate family that have come here from Japan.

It can get busy! My parents foster regularly, so we've had up to ten children in the house at a time.

maybe? my family is pretty small; i don't have siblings or very many cousins, but somewhere along the way, everyone on earth can be traced back to common ancestors. an idea like that makes me smile

that's so great of your parents! me alone was probably already a handful, so i don't think my mother would ever be able to handle ten

Yeah, it was a lot. Sometimes I think it may have been too much, but it was nice. I miss the noise.
