OHMIGOODDDDDD I THINK I BROKE HIM!!!!!!!

[Attached to the sudden message to the network late at night is a photo of Kei Shiragaki underneath a massive pile of boxes that had toppled over at a storage unit somewhere in the middle of town.

Felicia, panicked, did the first thing that came to mind:

Post to Retrospec.]

I swear to god if this is that doll I'm going to scream. Maybe it really was cursed. Maybe we shouldn't have tried to take it from it's lair...
[Following this is more rambling, babbling text message that string together into something nonsensical. Someone, help this girl.]

Did you check to see if he was breathing??

[ Thankfully, not knocked unconscious, but buried under a lot of boxes. He can't quite tell if anything is broken, but he can hear Felicia's muffled screaming and running around outside the buried boxes.

He's not regained any of his strength and so is just a very tall man of average abilities. His arms wiggle as the boxes violently shudder where he's buried under them, but that's the best he can do. ]

I.... think he's breathing?

He's kind of twitching a little.

Then that's good news at least. You might want to potentially take him to a doctor though if he's under all of those boxes.

Oh that's right I have a healing staff.

Maybe I should use that.

[brb USING THE STAFF TO TRY TO MOVE BOXES.]

[Somewhere outside of the pile Felicia is trying to move those blasted boxes in between sending frantic messages on Retrospec and repeatedly calling him everything from 'Kei' to 'Mister Shiragaki' to get a responce.

Her strength stat is horrible. She isn't having much luck.]

[ Well. They're both not having a great time, but he isn't dead.

As he recalls, the only thing he asked was that Felicia make sure that he doesn't die. He takes in a deep breath and decides he won't die from suffocation. So, he just brings his hands back to cross them over his chest. Best not make too much strenuous activity -- what if he punches or shoves a box with glass in it? No, thank you.

Oh, right. He can't quite move his head but at least he gives a muffled, "Yeah?" ]

Oh, good! You're alive!

[Felicia squeaked, sagging to her knees and flopping onto the nearest box. Her promise had been kept, by the grace of her ancestors in their snowy homeland.

Kei Shiragaki was alive. She couldn't ask for more.]

Are you hurt at all? I'm trying to get all these off of you!

[ Kei makes a soft grunt -- most likely too soft to be heard -- when she flopped onto one of the boxes. He doesn't quite know what is going on but suddenly the weight on top of him got a little heavier.

Muffled: ]

Yes, Felicia. Please move the boxes.

[Hearing his voice stirred her to motion. Even though her strength was horrible, she had to try!]

I won't let you die here, Kei Shiragaki. Not on my watch!

[ Muffled: ]

I am giving a thumbs up. You can't see it, because my hands are buried beneath these boxes, but it is there. In spirit.

Like the doll that is sitting next to me. [ Kei merely thought to lighten the situation by making light of the whole problem that they're presently having. Like she might get frustrated and yell that isn't funny and they will have a laugh. Felicia will laugh and Kei will accept the ever growing emptiness that is his existence, but at least some fun will be had by one person. ]

[There was an audible gasp.]

The Santa is with you?

[The panic that lit Felicia's heart made it difficult for her to see the humor in the situation. Another time, perhaps, and she would have let out a wry giggle.But the storage complex was too deserted, and the hour was too late for comfort to be found in such humor. Nightmarish visions of the Santa impaling Kei on the hatstand threatened to bubble to the surface-- and Felicia, with her imagination too vivid, had some difficulty fighting them down.]

When we get you out of there, you can have the Santa.

[She swore, and she meant it.

Perhaps Kei would appreciate it more than she did.]

[ He frowns a little bit in thought, and considers it acceptable. His head moves slightly and he wishes he hadn't as a box shifts to rest differently on his head. Kei merely realized that he was going to have the Santa anyway.

Oh, well. She's further panicked. His hands open in surrender as he accepts that he just isn't very good at comforting people in any sort of situation. Kei takes a moment, though, to try to think of something comforting to say in a few words.

Muffled: ]

No. He's gone. [ Nailed it. ]

[Just. A muffled scream.]

[ Whoops. Maybe not. ]

I'll get you outta here, Kei!

[Felicia exclaimed with renewed vigor, huffing and puffing as she tackled the pile of boxes. It would be real trouble for all of them if they were attacked by Santa, and it was her duty to prevent that from happening.

Finally, she managed to remove one box.]

[ Muffled: ]

Felicia. I'm going to end up haunting this storage unit. [ More his supportive statement that he does not think this is going to work, and maybe best that they wait someone to come help them. Since he's finally lifting his arms up to see what he can move, but since he had rested them over his chest -- like an asshole -- he finds them now trapped under the shifting boxes.

Great. ]
