003 ★ let's start some fictional idol wars ( forward dated to 3/15 )

So, I've been playing this really cute rhythm game lately called Doki Beat: School Idol Festival, and I was wondering if any of you guys were playing it, too.

The two idol units in the game, Mousai and Luneours have really good songs and I'd really like to actually add people to the game, but I have the most important question for everyone here at Retrospec who happens to play it: who do you consider as your ~*Best Girl*~ and why? Feel free to talk about your worst girl, too. Oh, and feel free to discuss your thoughts with everyone who replies!

I'll even start.

From Mousai, my favorite is Kira-chan. She's so small and cute and adorable. She even has the cutest catch phrase: "Kirakira kirariiiin☆" I don't get why so many people hate her! It's so disheartening!! ( ≧Д≦)

And from Luneours, I like Pearl a lot. Sapphire's a really close second, though. Pearl's a really good older sister, and even though she can be rough around the edges sometimes, she's really devoted and can end up as cute, I think.

I don't have a worst girl, though, since I love them all! Now, it's your turn. Also, if you want to add me in the game, feel free to message me your ID, I don't bite.

megumi is top tier best girl for me, and i would probably go to war for her if she were a real person. [ lmao ]
but, honestly. i respect your waifu opinion and they're all pretty good.
one of my side projects in compsci was actually just me rewriting the prewritten programming in one of those toy robots that has phrases to play a midi version of one of mousai's songs.

To be honest, I have issues with Megumi's... groping habits. Although I heard in the English version of the game they changed it to tickling.

But a midi version? Which song was it?

yeah it's tickling in engsif, but her groping thing sort of... chills out? a little? it's the most questionable thing about her characterization, unfortunately, but i'd say she's way less divisive than kira at least.

Yeah, I totally get it. And a lot of the other aspects of her character is really interesting, too!

Yeah, Ice Overglow's a pretty slow song. I feel like it would work for a music box, though!

she just really cares about everyone? the quirkiness outside of the groping is pretty charming, too. and you could say the same for kira, everyone that hates her so much just doesn't pay any attention to her characterization or how she is with her siblings.

probably, if someone ever wanted to make one. though it wouldn't be too hard to program something like it... music box roomba for my next bullshit side project.

Yeah, she does. In the canon she even came up with the unit name, so she's pretty creative. I also liked the tarot aspect and I honestly wish they did a little more with her in that anime... but the episode with her and Erica was really good!

And right?! Kira-chan gets really shafted a lot... like, even in the series itself, she's treated poorly by their competitor group. Like, they complimented every member of the group except for Kira and it's treated like a joke and it's horrible.

A music box roomba sounds cute, though. ☆
