I don't know if I can ever be mad at Retrospec again, since I woke up this morning able to see clearly for the first time in my life. Looking through my glasses with perfect vision makes me realize how bad my eyes really are. Or were? Being nearly blind is the bane of my existence, so this is like the single best thing that could ever happen. The fake glasses I got a few weeks ago suddenly make so much sense!

But anyway, a lot of us have had appearance changes, right? I got kind of curious about everyone else, like if you've totally turned into your memory self or if you haven't changed at all, or how you're dealing with the changes. I look pretty much the same, but I've heard some people remember being super different.

That, and... I've been trying to keep the tattoos I got from Retrospec a secret from everyone, but my Mom walked in on me changing clothes the other day and didn't seem to notice at all. But I've heard that's different for everyone too! (Don't tell anyone outside the app though, okay? Help me protect my low-key school life, I'm begging you)

Tattoos sound like a hassle to hide. What do you do in gym class?

I could not hide my hair when it changed color AND length in December, and then just the other day my eyes changed color. I am not really bothered. This is a minor change compared to some and I do not dislike how I look now.

...You're going to laugh at me, but I usually change shirts in the bathroom stall in the locker room
And I can't wear white t-shirts because you can see the tattoos through them
But if people not on Retrospec won't notice anymore, I can go back to doing things normally!

If your hair totally changed, what was it like before?
I mean, I haven't seen your eyes yet but I'm sure they look fine
Either way, I'm glad you're not bothered by it!

Oh dear, that does sound troublesome.

It was black before! And cut at my chin. Now it is almost to my waist.
People have told me the color suits me. I do not think I would have ever dyed my hair myself, but it is kind of fun that it looks like this.

I have hair like this in some of my memories but apparently cut it short at some point
So I'm wondering if I'll wake up one day with short hair like that too
Hair is easier than a lot of things though, since you can cut it or style it if it changes
But I like yours as it is!

I agree. Hair changes are probably the easiest to deal with.

If your hair suddenly became short, would you grow it longer again?

Hmmm...
I kind of like having it long, since I can keep it down in school and style it so many different ways in my free time
But I don't think I'd be too upset if it became short, though I'd probably grow it out at least a little
I'm not sure!
Are you going to keep yours?

I am! I had long hair when I was little, but it was cut really short at one point. It seemed like too much trouble to grow it back out... but now that it is long again, I am remembering how much I liked having long hair.

Yeah? That's great, though! There's so much you can do with long hair
And growing it out would probably take forever

My bangs grow really fast so I cut those myself, but my hair hasn't been short since I was a kid

though i keep catching it on things. i do not know how past-me managed having long hair.
haha you have to be careful cutting your own fringe. a girl at my old school had to wear her fringe in a clip for over six months because she accidentally cut too it wrong.

It sounds like she messed up pretty bad
I keep mine pretty long anyway, like past my nose
So accidentally going a little shorter than usual wouldn't be the end of the world...
Unless I sneezed while cutting my hair and wound up chopping a bunch off
