You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! It's pretty harmless as far as pranks go, and it will change back either at midnight or after trying to change the picture twice, prompting an "Are you sure?" message but no further ill effects. They don't appear to be eager to bother with "updating" their app. After all no one has spoken of any updates since getting it.

I don't think that's true. A lot of things have changed. Like, they didn't have the mailbox at first, and as far as I know there wasn't anywhere to return unwanted items.
And I think things like horses and colors coming back count as updates, too, even if it seems like Retrospec was kind of involved in the fact that they went away to begin with...

That seems more an update to the environment rather than an update to the app. The app only allows us to realize it is happening.

Well, that's true, but a change that allowed us to accept or reject attributes from our past selves would also be a "real world" update rather than something that happened through the app, wouldn't it?

I meant more an app update. Like how one would normally see new features. As it is we get the app and use it to communicate. However there seems to be something beyond the app that is causing us to realize what is happening around us.

What kind of new features are you hoping to see if they ever do an update?

The ability to remove it would be a start.

Like you mentioned, it wouldn't stop all the weird stuff from happening all around you... You just wouldn't be able to notice it anymore.

It is the fact that we are not given a choice in the matter. There is no freedom for any of us who have been given the app.
