You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! It's pretty harmless as far as pranks go, and it will change back either at midnight or after trying to change the picture twice, prompting an "Are you sure?" message but no further ill effects. Nice spear. You could stab a really big animal with that.

Retrospec sent me a lethal weapon too. A pistol loaded with bullets. I don't want to get caught using it and break the law. I'm pretty sure you could get in trouble for using a spear in public too.

Hope you don't have to use it.

course i would. the civvies might be blind to all the strange stuff, but they're not blind to what we do. besides, what's hanging out in public that needs that bad a stabbing?

I can think of a few things that need stabbings like monsters
or even bullies with knives.

Isn't this the second time we've gotten a warning about a storm?

not saying you should keep that thing loaded, but keep it accessible if you've got no other way to defend yourself

I can easily hide a gun somewhere, but a spear? Where are you going to keep that thing when you aren't using it?
