You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! Retrospectres? Heh. I like that. It makes us sound like a team of vintage monsters. I guess I wouldn't mind being part of a team like that, like a super hero league.

But I don't know if I'm ready to think about superpowers yet. I'd rather just play one online.

youre welcome to take things at your own pace
and generally people dont get superpowers until theyve had the app at least a month or so
so you have some time to settle before that happens
if it happens that soon
or at all!

specifically telekinesis
and i can see ghosts

but in general they cant
so dont worry about it
there are plenty of things to worry about that are far more likely to happen
i mean
if you have to worry
obviously its better to avoid worrying too much
you will just wear yourself out!

How are you not worried half to death all the time though? It feels like everybody texting here has a worry switch that they just turn off whenever they want. I don't know how to do that.

its not so much "turning off" the worry
its more like
over time you get accustomed to a higher baseline worry level
and you learn to step back a bit and pick your battles
plus you find people you can confide in about it
