I don't know if that's neccessary. It's more that... if something happens related to this app, and you're aware of it, can you not tell her right away? There's so much that's happening that people who don't have Retrospec just seem to either not be aware of or write off. She'll think we're both crazy, I think.

It's fine. I totally understand. I was totally worked up when things like this started, and now it's actually affecting your work. That's several levels more important, I think.

Who knows where this started, though. I was talking to someone earlier, and it turns out it's actually very easy to get someone's information on-line. They may not have had to do anything special to invade our privacy to start off.

App or not, there's PSAs available on proper measures to protect oneself and it's been taken as some silly comment. "Kids will be kids" don't apply when cautionary tales are ignored.

Well, I have the same concerns. Youth is no reason to make such mistakes, to be honest. I think it's more a commentary on the age we live in, though, and the lack of respect our leaders have for our rights digitally.
