First off, while not the main intention of this post, I've quit Club Sunshine. My shop is now earning enough money that I can live off of that instead of having two jobs. I guess I should really thank Retrospec for giving me some of my domain back and making my shop more haunted.

I can't complain about making more money that way.

But here's what I want to ask and why I'm here:

What are your thoughts about dragons? I know we hear stories about the knight in shining armor coming to rescue the princess from the tallest tower guarded by a dragon and people generally think of them as evil.

Some people think they're good, too. You always see posts on the internet defending them.

But what would you do if you knew dragons were evil beings? No, not that. Soulless beings. I think that's the right term I'm looking for.

I need to know.

If you don't care to talk about dragons, then let's talk about pirates.

Yes to both. It is part of my birthright that was restored to me.

[She hasn't remembered that whole "getting stuck in squishy human form and going bonkers" part yet.]

Precisely. I suppose my brothers must have been them as well. And my father. In the chaos of battle, however, it is easy for us to lose our heads. We must be mindful, or use our power where violence is not. A sadly limited state of affairs nowadays.

But it's a wretched waste of power to sit and do nothing with it, is it not?

...do you know why it is that your dragons lose their minds?

...the Feral Drug, is what I remember now. It's a substance that destroys the mind, turning one into no more than a mindless, violent beast.

Can such malevolence not be counteracted?
