LISTEN UP. Retrospec can read this all they like, I don't care. their cameras were trained on me the entire time I combed through their office anyway. they INVITED me there. so here I am, putting my findings out here so that all users can access it. you can respond helpfully, or cower behind your phones in silence, and to what end? Retrospec already knows about your precious secrets. or have you gnats forgotten that already??

give me evidence that you know them, and we can talk more. don't waste my time with "OOOH I MET THEM ONCE"s if there's no substance. a single detail about their history will suffice as proof.

and since I expect the lot of you to share any information you find in the future, in this fashion... what the REST of you need to know is that I found files on these people in an unlocked room in the Retrospec building. apparently some of these people were once Retrospec users, but for some reason they're not anymore. (you can extend your gratitude to Dave for sorting through all of your nonsense to locate posts by these people.) these files documented their personal histories. DETAILED, by the way. are they accurate? that's what I'm trying to figure out.

just for future context, in case it's ever relevant. what if these files are accurate only to people who don't use Retrospec, for example? not likely since there's no REASON for that to be true, but.

well the first question here is how many people do they even have files on and how are those people picked

i'm pretty sure my father is somewhere in milan right now, i don't see why they'd have a file on him in their records

are they only profiling people in the city? people who are on the network? how are they deciding what non-network people to profile and which ones to leave alone?

I've thought this through to some extent already, but there aren't any leads. there's nothing any of these people have in common

eeeeexcept now that I reread them... they were ALL orphaned?? EVERY SINGLE ONE of them have biological parents who have left the picture. ..being that plenty of Retrospec users still HAVE their biological parents, this must be a coincidence. besides, there's another thing you mentioned we ALL have in common, including these five files: we're all in the city, aren't we?

i'll have to ask if machi had recently moved to the city. i hadn't heard anything, but that doesn't mean he wasn't there

unless your file says he did, in which case... yeah, that's a common factor for sure

it says he traveled to Recollé a month following his adoption. apparently his adoptive parents wanted the move to symbolize a new beginning for them as a family. there's your answer.. according to this file.

i didn't know he'd been officially adopted

but all of that matches up with what dad knows, right down to his new parents finding him because of the online video

so i think we can say that machi's file was accurate
