LISTEN UP. Retrospec can read this all they like, I don't care. their cameras were trained on me the entire time I combed through their office anyway. they INVITED me there. so here I am, putting my findings out here so that all users can access it. you can respond helpfully, or cower behind your phones in silence, and to what end? Retrospec already knows about your precious secrets. or have you gnats forgotten that already??
respond if you know any of the following names:
Dante Sparda
Irene Greenland
Machi Tobaye
Jyushimatsu Ono
Matt Miller
give me evidence that you know them, and we can talk more. don't waste my time with "OOOH I MET THEM ONCE"s if there's no substance. a single detail about their history will suffice as proof.
and since I expect the lot of you to share any information you find in the future, in this fashion... what the REST of you need to know is that I found files on these people in an unlocked room in the Retrospec building. apparently some of these people were once Retrospec users, but for some reason they're not anymore. (you can extend your gratitude to Dave for sorting through all of your nonsense to locate posts by these people.) these files documented their personal histories. DETAILED, by the way. are they accurate? that's what I'm trying to figure out.
ohhh right: the note pictured was clipped only to that file. make of this what you will.

I don't know any of those names, but do you know if any of them are living in Recollé right now? I can try to track them down if they are
no subject
you could try. it would be better than nothing.

really good one, too
what did his file say? i can compare it with what i know
no subject
yes, he's a pianist, according to his file. it says he learned piano from a priest, then refined his discipline through text-based instruction.. he lived in Russia as an orphan, and a tourist posted a video of his playing online. is this how you know him? or is there more?
no subject
that all fits with what i know, but i never met him myself
my old man's a pianist though, so he keeps an eye on all the upcoming young pianists. he said machi had the potential to be one of the greats, a prodigy. i'll ask him if he knows anything else about him
was there anything else in his file i should ask about? or was that it

Irene Greenland. She teaches at the university. I even went grocery shopping with her once.

That note -- what do you make of it?

the most natural conclusion is to assume Miller's file needs rewriting thanks to the work of an intelligence employee who was fired for incompetence. but knowing what I know about Retrospec... well. if users report physical alterations, who can say?

ty Dave.

that would have to mean it doesn't match the file, in that case.

though yeah, I guess.

Why else invite certain people to be users while the rest of the world isn't overly concern over this app acting like an inclusive club?
My question is: why did Restrospec cordially invite you to their headquarters? And, could it be possible you were lead to that door intentionally?
I believe those two questions are more important than validating easily found files about those many of us may not know or have only met once.
no subject
I don't know why I was invited, but I wondered myself if it's a set-up before I posted this. if I'm being used as a pawn to collect these files and share them. to what end? what would they get out of me reading the files and then sharing my findings??
no subject
Retrospec is no different, imho.
If movies and tv shows have taught us anything, maybe they want to lead us on the wrong track by distracting us from their true goals. I just can't believe they'll freely allow us to trade information like this without censoring or making a huge ordeal over this. Something doesn't feel right to me.
