001: New Jewelry

So, this showed up in the mail for me a couple of days ago. I guess it belongs to me, or the other me? Not sure exactly how this kind of thing works, but it does fit me. And it feels like it's meant to be there. Which is weird, I guess. I mean, it's totally not my normal style, at all. At least it's less weird than the sheep and the rabbit. Has anyone ever seen something like this before? Or maybe recognizes some part of it? So far it doesn't seem like it does anything special, and I can't say how or why it's important. Guess I should invest in one of those fancy jewelry pouches? Anyone knows where I can get one of those?

I don’t really know. Maybe? I mean, the sheep and rabbits from the memories are bipedal and walk around in capes and top hats.

Uh, mate, I would get that bracelet thing checked out before you wear it again. In one of Draco's memories he was in a shop with his dad and the shop had this opal necklace. Beside it was a sign that read: Caution: Do Not Touch. Cursed- Has Claimed the Lives of Nineteen Muggle Owners to Date. I'm not sure what a muggle is, but still, if you are from a magical world, don't wear strange jewelry until you have it checked out. I'd offer, but I have no idea how to check it.

Uh, well I kind of already wore it... But it didn't seem to do anything? It's just what it looks like more or less, as far as I can tell.

Hah, it'll be interesting. It definitely feels kind of grunge, so maybe a weekend outfit? It's so bulky too.

Hmm? But mine doesn't send messages... or I don't think it does. It really hasn't done much of anything, to be honest.

But I've been able to get it on and off okay. I've already tried it on a couple of times.

It was scary. Luckily Noah was able to help me get them off and I eventually figured out how to make them work properly

Still, be careful. Until you know more about it, you probably should not let anyone ELSE put it on. Until you know it is just a harmless decoration, better to be safe. My boots could seriously harm someone else.

That's a good idea. I didn't really think about it, to be honest, but I don't know hardly anything about the other me yet. And no one else seems to have similar memories either.

Oh that would be cool! But so far it hasn't really done anything. I can put it on and take it off no problem, but it really just seems like a normal thick bracelet.

Could it be a transformation item? Like in a magical girl show?

That sounds like the most logical thing it would be. You're probably right. It feels custom made for me too - like it fits exactly to my wrist.

Some of the stuff I got in the mail was just stuff the other me borrowed from someone else, so the rules on that kind of thing might be looser for anything else you get back, too

A little bit on the tacky side, but it looks like something I'd probably be able to sell to my more steampunk-y customers. Maybe the goths too. All I can surmise from that, however, is that the other you might have a rather eccentric sense of fashion.
