... Why the kitchen?

A lot of random drawers of stuff are in kitchens.

Like drawers of random cutlery no one really uses.

Really? I don't think Suzuki-san has a drawer of... 'random stuff' in the kitchen.

But I'll go look.

Everyone has a random drawer of odds and ends, that or a box in a closet.

It's the first time I hear that, to be honest.

You don't know a lot about your own house, do you.

Well, I don't know much about the daily comings and goings and the running of it, really.

Maybe you should learn then? In case you're alone for a while.

Well, that is why I am asking for help with the machine. It seems like a useful skill to pick up.

You could always invite someone over to show you how to do it.

I do have people coming over. Hopefully this will be enough if I practice a few times.
