My entire household staff has disappeared and I've never used it myself. I would appreciate a bit of help with it.

It looks a bit fancier than mine, but the same principles should apply. Chuck the clothes in, shut the door. The soap goes in the little pull-out tray on the left corner. I wash pretty much all my clothes with cold water on the gentle cycle.

I'm not even sure where the laundry detergent is.

OK mate...

Step 1: Separate all your clothes into different piles according to colors: white, lights (lighter colors), darks(blacks and dark blues), and colors (prety much everything else). I'm just going to assume here that since your rich, you have a lot of clothes.

Step 2: Take one of those piles, and put them in the washer. Close the door.

Step 3: There should be some sort of detergent to put in it. I suggest for simplicity sake, gets those tide pods so you don't have to measure out the detergent. If you don't have those: powder detergent- use the scoops and fill it to the line according to the directions on the box. Liquid detergent- fill the cap according to the directions on the bottle. Less soap= small amount of clothes. more soap= larger load of clothes.

From the looks of the picture, that little drawer on the top right hand corner, yeah, open that. Pour the soap into the one labeled detergent. Don't put it in the one that says bleach or oxi-clean. And then close it.

Step 4: Push the power button

Step 5: You need to make sure you are indicating to the machine what kind of clothes you have inside of it: white/colors/darks. The temperature of water: hot/cold/warm. And How you want it washed: Normal/delicate/rinse.

Temperature wise: mostly everything is done in cold. You can do white in warm or hot.

Pretty much, read the labels on every piece of clothing and you should know how to wash each item.

Do you have a dryer or do you hang your clothes? (You might just want to hang them to avoid shrinking them on accident tbh.)

Step 6: Once you've figured all that out, push the START button.

That's quite complicated. I tried to look at the labels but I have no idea what the symbols on them mean, and besides my suits and a lot of Jirou's dresses usually get dry-cleaned.

And I don't know if we have laundry detergent or where it would be.

That's a really fancy front loading washing machine... I like top loaders better because of the agitator gets things cleaner.

I don't think it's a voice activated machine. The coffee machine is, but not this one.

1) Get a friend to set it to a temperature/spin cycle that works for most clothes. (Looks like you got this part covered!)

2) Put clothes and detergent in, push the start button.

3) Never touch the other buttons again for the rest of your life.

For any appliance you're unfamiliar with, find the manufacturer name and model number and then do an online search for that plus "instruction manual." Most manufacturer websites will have them available to download, and even if they don't you can usually find them at other sites!

You put your clothes in, then some detergent, select the load size, and then press the start button.

I personally do my shirts and such in one load, and then my pants in one, and my underwear in another with some bleach.

All the buttons should be labeled!

Yeah I learned how to use it this year. The easiest detergent to use is the ones that look like little pods. You can just pop that in without trying to measure it, but there are a couple of videos that shows you how to use it too.
