Yeah I think he invented it.
Mostly it was brought on by my uncle's complete inability to listen to good fashion advice.

But no.
There are some combinations that no one can wear well.
Old goth coat, pinstripe pants, raggedy hat and grandma scarf is one of those.

Like is this cowboy western look? "Phantom of the Opry"? Is he trying to be hip with the kids with all his belts and straps and the weird jaunty shoulder cape thing?
Please tell me he's at least old enough that wanting to be hip with the kids is an option.
If he's supposed to be one of those hip kids then he seriously seriously needs help.
I mean either way you should update his wardrobe but at least if he's old he's got "too crotchety to admit his poor taste" in his pocket.

I believe this to be the look of a true aesthete, albeit one beyond the comprehension of ordinary minds.

Observe his sleeves, twinned with his jet-black coat. The lapels that beg for an audience - an audience that is rapt, applauding, chanting even as they descend into a murky abyss of belts and chains! A man who wishes to convey his deepest thoughts to the world, but finds he can only express himself through his sacred and ritualistic robes.

The hat: unexplainable. Possibly even cryptid. I am in awe!

We have been presented with a grim dandy, straddling the bounds between good and bad taste. Send this man my highest regards.
