A different color on the scarves might help.
Something a little less 'old lady.'
But he might be better off just dumping the scarves.
And I'm sure I could clear some space on my busy schedule.

in any case a friend of mine left the city because of some personal business
he left me his dog and... i wanted to take him out on a walk in the woods
maybe collect some stuff from his cabin, dog toys and things, maybe look at the stars...
