looking for some advice
preferably from other cyborgs
how do you take a shower like this without electrocuting yourself

turns out google isn't really helpful when it comes to this sort of thing

Plastic wrap...?

doesn't wet plastic wrap start sliding off whatever it's on

If you wrap it around your torso half a dozen times, there's a better chance it'll stay. This is what I used in the hospital, though. Try that?

they're all a little small but i might be able to just use a bunch to cover the area of it
do they really stay on or are they waterproof the same way bandaids are waterproof

Yeah, usually wounds aren't that big, so the sizes don't get that large. It... stayed on well enough, for me at least. Can you manage a five minute shower?

That's tough... If you lean sideways the entire time to keep that shoulder elevated, the water won't drip down it. And you just... strategically aim the shower head on the lowest setting...?

What have you been doing before?

i had a normal flesh shoulder before
i just showered like normal because i didn't have any metal bits to worry about

You're losing bits of yourself every time I see you... Your arm was okay to shower with before?

my prosthetic arms are never supposed to get washed
if you mean the stump then yeah that was okay to shower with until like 2 days ago when it got replaced with the new robotics

Maybe... if you sit in the bathtub long enough, you'll remember how the other you used to do it.

It was in a different high school than the ones I attended. Washing my face otherwise is mundane enough that it wouldn't have stuck in my memory like that, I think.

It was a pretty normal, boring teenage life. There was a lot of eating. It was nice.
