The most I can suggest is getting in contact with Retrospec, assuming such a thing to be possible in the near future. Mr. Carlisle has indicated he may be capable of being vaguely useful in that regard when I've spoken to him, though that may only be for things with potential to wipe out large amounts of the population. If it's something more personal you may be out of luck.

...There are several ways that question can be answered, but I'm fairly sure all answers lead back to "questionable decisions were made by several people, none of whom seemed to doubt those decisions at any point, for some reason."

either way maybe try contacting retrospec?? i don't really have ny good tips. sorry. i gained limbs i never lost anything (except for my eyes but those can grow back it's okay)
