Has anyone else found themselves falling in love with someone in those memories we all get? That might feel a little extreme, but the face has been sticking with me for a while now.

i don't know if i would describe it like that
but i have started missing people i never knew
it's a little surreal

A whole family other than the one I have now

They're family.

So I loved them, of course.

my own family relations have been a little awkward
so i guess that's why i'm asking
even if you love your family sometimes it's a little hard to like them

No, no, I liked all of them back then in the other world except her daughter in law I suppose? But I think she even liked her just was irritated at her a lot

i'm happy for you then
it's something to be proud of i think
having strong ties like that

maybe i'll get to remember something like that one day
i think i remember loving people but they weren't family
more relationship-type things

Honestly, I'm not sure she had any or at least many bonds outside of her family. I was even talking about her husband up in the initial post.

it would be a bit strange if it were someone random

Well! It could have been someone she dated I guess! But.. yeah. Better to be a husband even if my hubby this life's past on.

Can't help but feel weird.

because you were married before or?

To dream about a man I've technically never met, but I know "I" spent a lifetime with. To see his face and feel a little weak-kneed over it, even at my age.

It's a strangely girlish feeling.

i can't see many downsides to that

we're all bound to get the same feelings for a person in our memories the longer we stay here
doesn't mean it's not a pain to deal with, though

i'm still getting used to it
my memories are mostly just strange
and the city itself is a mess
but i still find it pretty endearing so far

As near as I can tell, a very happy one. It certainly feels that way!
