Has everyone's day been pleasant? I hope so. Isn't it kind of the city to refresh itself and shed all the work we put into it? It's such a nice view to wake up to after these past few weeks.
On the other hand, did anyone else receive a bright red surprise at midnight that didn't disappear after waking up today? If you have a new possibly anxiety-inducing timer that you can't remove, shall we have a pop quiz? Or a poll?
What are we counting down to?
A) the end of the month
B) the end of the world
C) the time until you find your soulmate
D) provide your own answer. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
(If anyone makes a Europe reference, you're dead to me. :) )

Slowly but surely, people seem to be uprooting the truth. If knowledge is supposed to be power, it could be power enough to change the future. Will we learn what we need to know in time, though?

As for that question, we really won't know until time runs out, I'm afraid. As far as I know, no one's done anything to change the time on the countdown so far.
I think I'd rather know how long we had left, at least, instead of guessing at some nebulous deadline.

Well, we have some kind of deadline even if it may not be the ultimate deadline.

Any guesses as to what the deadline's for? Beyond your more generalized poll options, of course.

My best guess is that something has to be reset or something has to stabilize. It may not be happening to every person on Retrospec, but there are people dreaming of lives within Recolle that don't match up with their current lives. That has to come to some sort of head.

It's probably some sort of false flag...Like a glitch or mistake. Those dreams, that is. Maybe we'll be lucky for once and the countdown is to stability.
[haha]

Even when there's a glitch, it doesn't often mean nothing. Do you really want those dreams to mean nothing, Jasmine? Is that how you feel?
[ no accounting for luck ]

In those dreams, some people seem truly miserable. I just wonder if the cost is worth the reward for everyone.
[Maybe it's better, for example, for Clover to have a real family, to not feel like she has to pretend to be like other people she just happened to be raised around.]

People wouldn't be miserable if they didn't care. Did you think about that?

It's a nice though, and I admit I've considered it before.
But I think, just as well, there are people who would choose differently
because they wanted to prevent someone else's suffering.

Have you ever stopped to think that people should be informed so they could make their own choice?
You should allow them to have that kind of agency.
