Well, this is pretty nerve-wracking, but I finally uploaded some music I composed. It's just four songs, between college and everything happening in Retrospec, I've been, well, pretty busy this year. But I hope to compose more soon!

Anyway... you can listen to them here. Please enjoy them.

And in less good news ... I had a rather troubling conversation with a ghost...

According to him, our Earth isn't what it seems. Apparently, while Recolle's real and stable, the rest of the world is actually a recreation of other Earths. It was made to be a centralized hub for planets across the galaxy that were destroyed, and Recolle's essentially the capital. It was all formed and balanced from the soul energy being generated by this city and the people here, and it's not exactly stable.

Good news, all the people outside of Recolle in this world are real, so it's not like our lives were fake. But bad news, if anything should happen to Recolle, the rest of the world would disintegrate. So...no pressure?

Oh, and has anyone heard anything about a river of souls beneath Recolle? A friend heard about it from another ghost, but we don't know much.

Sorry for all the troubling news. This isn't how I expected this post to go.

Haha, it's not so crazy. You're one of the few that's ever offered good critiques about my songs. Most people tend to just say nice things, or give me advice I can't really use since it's just personal preferences.

[Crow can't help but chuckle behind the feed.]

It's easy to give compliments when it's something you like... It's a little harder to like what you hear and look for things to improve. Sometimes you feel like it's not your place, cause after all, you're not the musician. You don't know this stuff like an expert would. But there's some things that can only be seen with a blind eye, so to speak. Honestly, I think that's what's most important.

Yeah, I agree.

For a musician, it's really easy to get into the habit of writing for other musicians. You only listen to other musicians for advice, you write to one-up someone else's work, you try to be clever in ways a musician would notice...stuff like that. That's all fun, but I wanna make sure my music has staying power for anyone.

So...I really appreciate hearing the "blind eye" perspective! And I'm sure my past self did too.

You're right. It is easy to just write music Correctly and not expressively. Sometimes music doesn't always have to be right by certain standards, but it's also got to have its obvious flaws pointed out just like a piece of art I'll be here to offer that insight into your music as long as you want me You got all these fans who are just itchin' to download so I'd say you're doing something right Now we can discuss tours

Ahaha, I think it's a little early for talk of tours. I don't even have enough songs released to make a proper album. Besides, pretty sure my classes wouldn't be fond of me taking off for weeks.

But I'll take you up on that offer though. For as long as possible.

Hehe, don't worry- I daydream! I got some good ones.
But it's better to focus on the one bird in the hand than the two in the bush, right?
So the next goal is finishing and writing some more songs, and finding more venues to play.

I'm glad. It hasn't been long, but you've really grown on me.
